Let’s do this quickly.

Another week and another episode of great and happy jokes and fun. Yeah I am not going to be blogging Devil Survivor 2 anymore, it’s far too plot heavy and I don’t have the motivation to blog it.

Anyways, the episode starts with Maou and Ashiya laughing evilly, well Maou is laughing evilly, we slow pan out to reveal that Maou and Ashiya are simply having some delicious meat to eat. Maou absently comments on how his minions commented that guts, presumably human,  were the tastiest part. In all honesty the random spurts of reminders that Maou did order the death of several thousand humans. Poor, poor humans. I mean really that side comment just sticks to me, I mean sure Maou and Ashiya’s antics are quite funny, but you have to remember that literally millions of humans have died because of these two.

Anyways, the two talk, more jokes and then we cut to Lucifer who has become nothing more than a NEET who’s learned how to shop on the internet! He’s also spent quite a lot of money and Ashiya tells Maou that he must bring the hammer down and punish Lucifer.  Then the full opening finally plays and well it’s quite cool.

Anyways when the opening ends, we cut back to Ente Isle where we see the church talking about Olba, Maou and Emila. The church comes to the conclusion that they must send someone to Earth in order to see exactly what was going on.

The we jump back to Castle Overlord where the duo returns home, with a nice pork bowl for Lucifer, who has been delegated the job of searching all of the internet to find ways that they could regain there true powers. Lucifer quickly shows off his skills by hacking into Emila’s workplace and allowing our protagonists to do what they do best by annoying the heck out of Emila at her workplace. More verbal barbs are passed and we rejoin our hero at his work this time, where Chiho as taken the fact that her co-worker and crush is an evil overlord that has killed millions of people quite well for a well a human.

Emila shows up to yell at Maou, and they talk about plot related things after Maou has gotten off work. Maou then returns home to find Lucifer passed out on the ground! Rushing to the aid of his minion, Maou quickly tries to find what’s wrong. The first thing he notices is a letter on the coffee table, but before he can look at it, Ashiya walks in forewarning Maou of the danger that the letter possess. Inside that envelope was a picture of Minty, a rather large women, in a bathing suit. Ashiya and Lucifer are quite injured by looking at the photo, so Maou quite wisely decides not to look at the photo.

They talk some more, and then Lucifer tells them about a creepy room at a local school where summoning a world gate might be easier. Maou and Ashiya are quite intrigued and decide to investigate. They go to the school the next day, and conveniently enough it proves to be Chiho’s school. The gang (anyone else getting Scooby Doo vibes? Just me? Okay.) decides to explore the school and find the room the next night.

Fast forward to the night and we have our team walking down the halls looking for the room. Emila shows up at one point and well the team has a lot of hi-jinks and such and then blam! Plot twist! The creepy room they were searching for was just where Lucifer and Olba were living! The entire reason they had to go there was to grab Lucifer’s PSP VIT- Er- PASTA.  Ashiya “returns” the gaming console, while Maou goes to work and finally sees the terrifying picture.  He collapses from the shock and returns home, only for a rather cute girl in a kimono to fall down the stairs and land on him.

That episode was quite good. It ended a bit abruptly, but well not everything can be perfect. The opening and ending were quite awesome so that’s good! Yup… Don’t have much else to say…
